The City of St. John's is soliciting proposals from qualified design–builders for the construction of a Class II Certified 400m 8-lane track, a FIFA Certified Artificial Soccer Turf, a Class II Certified Athletics Field and a Centre of Excellence Training Facility for the development of amateur level sport in Newfoundland & Labrador. The Centre of Excellence will allow for year-round training opportunities for provincial track and field athletes, as well as other sports.
