The Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City’s water and sewer system. One of the services that the City provides is repairs to water and sewer laterals to residential properties, this work typically involves the cutting and removal of a portion of the dwellings copper water service pipe, which may affect the electrical grounding for the dwelling, To ensure the continuity of the electrical grounding system is maintained, the City requires the services of a qualified electrician to install a temporary grounding system to allow the water and sewer repairs to be completed safely. |
